A fun and friendly introduction to Judo for young children! Our Mini Mike’s classes build confidence, balance, and coordination through playful activities and basic Judo skills. Each 30–45 minute session blends games with simple techniques to keep little ones engaged and excited to learn.

Perfect for beginners aged 8 and above, this class follows the Mon grading syllabus, providing a structured introduction to Judo techniques and principles. Students build strength, discipline, and self-confidence while progressing through their grades in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Our Judo Ninjas class is perfect for intermediate young Judoka ready to take the next step! This session prepares students for Level 1 and Level 2 Mini Mon competitions, focusing on building stronger techniques, tactical skills, and confidence on the mat. Kids train in a supportive, energetic environment while having fun and making new friends.

Suitable for children aged 8 and above with previous Judo experience (minimum grade 4th Mon).
The squad sessions are held at Hogarth Youth Centre (Chiswick) and are aimed at children who wish to develop their technical skills and mental resilience to train at a high level. Squad members are expected to attend training camps, train at least twice a week, and work towards representing Mike’s Judo at tournaments both nationally and internationally.
Mike’s Judo Squad offers a clear pathway for young Judoka to progress towards competing at the British National Championships and beyond.
